Gaming History
The very first game I remember playing is Pokemon Yellow on my turquoise GameBoy Color. After that, I became hooked on the Pokemon series, acquiring Pokemon Blue as well as watching the series on TV. After Pokemon, Legend of Zelda became an interest to me, ranging from Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Time to Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I even have my own ocarina! Other games from my childhood came from systems such as Nintendo 64 that included Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Crash Bandicoot, Donkey Cong, and others respectively. After my Nintendo 64 years, I had acquired a PlayStation 2, games including Final Fantasy X, Gran Turismo 3, Guitar Hero, and Kingdom Hearts, which quicky became a top favorite of mine. In terms of mobile gaming, I had been spoiled, acquiring every GBA system after GameBoy Color (Other than GameBoy Advanced) up to the Nintendo DS, all in a span of ten years and all being in my possession at least a month after the release of the system. Gaming history for these games included Dragon Ball games (Buu’s Fury, Legacy of Goku), Pokemon (Blue, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Soul Silver), Kingdom Hearts (Chain of Memories), Legend of Zelda games, etc. At some point, I got into playing Pokemon competitively on smogon, including RNG breeding and EV training/IV Breeding, etc. I had stopped at the release of Black and White. At this point, I had taken a hiatus from playing games to focus on my studies. This was about Sophomore year for me, not too long ago. Later that year, I purchased an Xbox 360 and got into shooter games (Halo, GOW, COD) and others such as Final Fantasy XIII and FFXIII-2. Other such games for the 360 include Assassins Creed (2, Brotherhood, Revelations, and 3), COD WaW to BO2, Lolipop Chainsaw, Farcry, and Dead Island. As I moved to a new home, I had lost interest in nightly zombies games in BO and started playing Minecraft and Starcraft 2. I was never the best at SC2, but there was a game I was good at and it was called Hero Attack, and my friend told me that there was a free games called League of Legends which has the same premise. At that point, I had transitioned from SC2 to League of Legends. I am now an active Summoner on League, not a professional, but can carry myself and am efficient at all roles.
TL;DR: I’ve got quite an extensive gaming history, not the most vibrant, but its something I take pride in. Basically, I love playing video games.
